Maintenance Tips

Twice-yearly care keeps awning windows smooth, ventilated, secure, and long-lasting—even in light rain. Contact a specialist for persistent issues or adjustments.

Clean frames & glass

Use mild detergent/water or glass cleaner + soft cloth. Open outward for easy access to both sides. 1–2 times yearly (more if dusty/coastal).

Clear hardware & channels

Brush or vacuum debris from hinges, crank arms, operator mechanism, and bottom channels.

Lubricate moving parts

Apply silicone-based lubricant to hinges, crank, operator arms, and pivot points every 6–12 months (or when stiff). Wipe excess.

Check seals

Inspect weatherstripping/gaskets for cracks or wear; clean gently, replace if damaged to prevent drafts/leaks.

Test operation
